When the South Carolina Baptist Convention outgrew their existing technical infrastructure, CTO John Pitzer contacted The Blencowe Group to create a plan that would allow for organizational growth.

After gaining an understanding of the Convention's vision and conducting thorough research, The Blencowe Group suggested and implemented an IBM SAN solution. The following goals were achieved:

• All Data was migrated to a redundant drive array with unlimited storage capacity.
• Increased server connectivity via a fiber backbone.
• System administration is now accomplished through a single web interface.
• Automated system backups
• Reduced the footprint by replacing 3 full server racks with a 1/2 rack configuration.
